The Amazing Spider-man was the UK's second biggest opening of 2012. The movie opened with £11 million and not too far from Avengers Assembles (which was the biggest opening in the UK of 2012) which earned an enormous amount of £15.78 million.
This movie has earned more than the UK's top three competition which consist of Ice Age 4: Continental drift, Katy Perry: Part of me and the Five year engagement.
In North America it earned $153.2 million and $231.8 million overseas.
With this amount of money earned, then fanboys out there can probably rest easy, because there is a possibility that Spider-man will be swinging back onto the big screen! 'Nuff said.
