Is there enough diversity in CBM's or Comic books in general?

First off, can you name one movie with a hero, which does NOT have a white Superhero as a main character and was a NOT a Box Office bomb? No, I didn't think so.
Now, my question is this: Is there enough ANY diversity in Comic Book Movies? When you try to think of movies that has, say a black man as the leading superhero, Blade and Hancock do come to mind, but where would you place these movies on your list of all time favorite CBM movies? Up there with The Avengers, or at the lowest of the low with the likes of Catwoman (a film which happens to have a black person as the leading role and is known as one of the worst movies ever made. Coincidence? I think not)?
What I am trying to say is are there any Chinese, Indian or Black superheroes in our favorite Super movies? No! Asian and Black characters may appear in Superhero films, but mostly as supporting casts, example: Robbie Robertson.
Marvel are planning on introducing Black superheroes such as The Black Panther and The Falcon into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but are they going to be as popular as characters such as Captain America, The Hulk, Iron Man, Spider-man and many more. Would non comic book fans go and see The Black Panther in Theaters? I wouldn't bet on it. We need Luke Cage, John Stewart, Misty Knight, Black Lightning, just any black supers on the big screen which won't be massive flops.
To be honest, I don't think that much faith is put into these kind of films, mostly due to previous films having black main characters in superhero action flicks are usually massive bombs, so what can you expect?
Are movie studios really pushing for multi-racial superhero flicks? Are they scared of failure or just plain don't care?

What do you think?

SKYFALL review

I went to see Skyfall today with couple of friends and once the movie finished, all my friends were saying what I was thinking: 'This movie is worst than Quantum of Solace... and that's saying something!'.
Frankly, I was rather disappointed with this movie. This was released to celebrate 50 years of seeing Bond on the big screen and this did not live up to expectations.

We are use to seeing our favorite spy in exotic locations and travelling all over the world, with the film  starting off with an action scene, then going on to flirting, a few quips are said, gadgets used and then goes straight onto a final scene/showdown against the 'bad guy'. This movie follows this routine, yet it just doesn't seem that the film was fully complete.
Granted they had gone to countries such as Turkey and Shanghai, but only for 5 minutes! This movie mainly focused on the UK (which I don't mind, after being born and raised in the UK), but what happened to all those beautiful scenes and fighting in desirable, decorative buildings/ scenes and all we got was a battle in an old, battered house up North in Scotland!

The final struggle to be held in the house where Bond grew up was a rather clever move I have to say, but the setting just wasn't that glamorous, neither was it colourful.

M (Jedi Dench) IS actually the Bond girl in this flick and I have to admit is a pretty good move and rather interesting. Her back story is revealed to revolve around the villain of the story (which you will discover).

The villain is to be honest the best villain in the whole of the Daniel Craig 'Bond' Universe. He is the most memorable and most interesting. The one fault that I had about this character was that he reminded me of Dark Knight Rises' Bane.

The really enjoyed all the references that the film included which fans will enjoy, but there is one point where they blow up a certain car, which may bring tears to hardcore fans eyes.

I enjoyed this movie, but not as much as I should have I don't think. I found it to be a little bit of a disappointment, so I rate this movie a generous 6 out of 10.

Jamie Foxx for Electro?

Sony have already revealed that casting has begun, about casting an actor to portray Electro in Marc Webb's next Amazing Spider-man movie.
Django: Unchained actor: Jamie Foxx Tweeted last night about suiting up as Electro for Halloween and some people think of this as an almost hint to a possible chance of the actor playing the character, but what do you think?
Is this just pure Hokum, or does this seem like a possibility?

Disney Villains... what if?

What if the villains in Disney movies had won? (Horrible thought, I know). These are portraits depicting just that (but beware... these pictures may be a stab in the childhood).

Marvel NOW! Teases FEARLESS

Once again another Marvel NOW! Teaser has popped up and this time features the word: FEARLESS.
So, what do you think this is guys? Star Wars: The Clone Wars' Will Sliney and Venom's Cullen Bunn is involved. I think that it's possible for it to be some sort of 'continuation' for Fear itself as Cullen Bunn was involved in a little project revolving around that, but it is possible for it to be Daredevil due to one of his names being 'The Man without fear'.

Now what do you think this is? My bet is on Daredevil to be honest.

This is set to debut February 2013
