Can a major character really die in THOR: THE DARK WORLD

According to Bleeding Cool's great resources, someone may die in the Thor sequel! To make things much worst, a major character! This is only thought of as a rumor, so I wouldn't get my hopes up too much...

FOR THOSE WHO READS THIS, SHALL HOLD THE POWER OF... SPOILER ALERT!!!

Bleeding Cool states that the major character to be killed off in the movie, will in fact be the Allfather himself: Odin. Now... this is just a rumor and for comic book readers out there, we all know that barely any character stays dead in the comics, so will it be the same with the movies? If someone is to die, my money is on one of the Warrior three to hit the bucket.
