Who is 'SUPERIOR SPIDER-MAN'?

The identity of Marvel NOW's! Superior Spider-man has been hidden very well, but now Dan Slott may have dropped the penny on this one.

Slott had sent a public message to artist Ryan Stegman instead of a private message on Twitter about the identity of the new Wall-crawler and had revealed that...

SPOILER ALERT... SPOILER ALERT... DO NOT HIGHLIGHT THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE IF YOU DON'T WANT THIS INFORMATION!!!

The Superior Spider-man is in fact- Miguel O'Hara A.K.A Spider-man 2099!

For those who highlighted the message, remember that Dan Slott had gone through quite a bit to keep this secret hidden, so remember to respect this piece information and don't spoil it!!!

007 Legends review

James Bond is coming back to theaters in his upcoming movie, Skyfall and to hype this up, they released 007 Legends! To be honest, this game didn't really do what it was meant to achieve.

The game begins with a scene from Skyfall. Bond is battling a villain on top of a train and accidentally gets shot by one of his own and falls into the river below.
While unconscious, he has flashbacks from previous missions and that is where the structure of the game begins.

There are five missions in total, starting off with Goldfinger, then On her Majesty's secret service, License to Kill, Die another Day and Moonraker. Skyfall will be added as downloadable content after the release of the film.

Now, to start off, all of these games are based in the present day and Bond is Daniel Craig... unfortunately. This game is to celebrate 50 years of Bond kicking bottom and yet they couldn't even get some of the old Bond's for each of the missions? They basically set up the Bond franchise for us!
Another problem is that they have Felix Leiter in the game, yet it isn't Jefferey Wright's Felix, the updated one. Instead we get the version from the 1953 Casino Royale.

Bond sounds like an android in the game. The voice was not Craig, I'll give you that. The voice over work was not done well at all. The voice just doesn't have that general 'smoothness' to it and it is lacking his sarcastic tone when needed.

I am a rather big fan of original James Bond soundtracks and I really liked how they based most of  the tracks on the original. They have a theme which really shouts out 'BOND' to me and the theme mostly consists of the Goldfinger theme, which I quite enjoy.

Now, to the actual gaming experience. To be honest, I was rather disappointed with the action scenes. Basically, the whole game is pure action and that's all there is. There's no story to it whatsoever really. All you do is mindless shooting and maybe the occasional silent take down, but I really think they rushed the game in this sense.
With showing Bond's hand to hand combat skills, there's one thing it taught us and that is to strike where your enemy isn't defending. The content was far too short and all you basically do is move the toggle either left, right, up or down, but it just take five seconds! And most of the time the opponent won't strike one punch!
The game description on the internet states that you are able to use your detective skills, but the only thing relative to this is remembering codes for hacking... that's it. It requires you to use your intellect but not enough. Bond's phone is what helps you with your detective skills by allowing you to see fingerprints and see what codes are, but once you master this it becomes rather simple.
His phone has multiple settings, helping you with finding fingerprints, cables and just taking pictures to send back to HQ.

I have already mentioned Bond's phone, so I must mention his wristwatch. To be honest this accessory was the most useful of gadgets. This allowed you to make distractions and find out where your allies and enemies are. Best gadget a spy could ask for.

Overall, I think this is a rather fun game, maybe lacking at some areas, but fun nonetheless.

I rate this game a 6.5 out of 10.

IRON MAN 3's The Mandarin won't have connections on the other side

Marvel has already introduced a Man with a hammer which congers lightning and a whole alien race with flying scooters into the MCU, so what can we expect from Iron Man 3's 'The Mandarin'? Well in an interview with Entertainment Weekly Kevin Feige explains all. (Entertainment Weekly quoted all his explanations):

"Feige says we won’t get ice rays and fire beams from these rings, like in the comics, but what will we get? Smart money says they’re not just because the Mandarin has won a lot of Super Bowls."

The Mandarin possesses ten rings which gives him almost unlimited power in the comics. Each ring has a certain function for each task, which I think is very useful.

"But this version of The Mandarin will not follow that same backstory, said Kevin Feige, the president of Marvel Studios. Don’t expect aliens."

We have already encountered Gods, magic and extraterrestrials in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but apparently we won't be having any of that in the movie regarding The Mandarin... but he didn't mention the movie not including magic...

AVENGERS #32 A beloved character returns?!

SPOILER AVOID-ERS.... YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!!

Brian Michael Bendis... one thing for sure is that he loves killing off main characters... in fact he feeds off the very soul of fictional death, but we all know that characters don't stay dead for long in comics... Well, especially in THE AVENGERS...

Yes everyone, Ms. Janet Van Dyne A.K.A The Wasp is back! For those long time comic readers (I really mean comic readers who have been reading for more than four years), you will remember her "Death" in the Secret invasion where Thor had to "destroy her" after the Skrulls turned her into a "bomb"; but apparently her death was extremely exaggerated.

So, what do you think? Is this a step too far for Bendis, or is this what you were hoping for? But the main question is "Why"?
My theory is that they're just doing this to get ready for the Ant Man film.

What do you think?

Hulk confesses that the armor isn't for him, but for Puny Banner

Fans have been wondering why armor on indestructible heroes are coming into fashion nowadays, for example The New 52's Superman. When you saw this you may have thought that they were promoting body armor (with some sort of cheesy slogan attached), but when Marvel's biggest and baddest hero popped up with body armor, we thought that that was a step too far.
Yes, The INCREDIBLE/INDESTRUCTIBLE Hulk wears armor, but there is a rather sensible reason to it.

Writer Mark Waid and artist Yu, both talked about this on a Marvel chat board and explained all about it:

“Bruce Banner has decided to take a bit of a sabbatical from worrying about trying to control the Hulk,” Waid said. Also, ”If you ever want to get into character for writing the Hulk, go to the DMV for half an hour. That’ll do it.”
The reasons why he is–and exactly the deal he cut to become–an Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. is a mystery that will build out as the story goes.
The Hulk destroys and Banner builds. Banner will be spending his time and energy making up for what the Hulk does.
The reasons why he is an Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. is a mystery that will build out as the story goes on.
Banner realized that the Hulk is not something he can stop. It’s something he can control to a degree, but ‘Hulk happens,’ as he puts it. So when he comes out, S.H.I.E.L.D. points him where they want him to go. Think of him as a cannon, not a bomb.
S.H.I.E.L.D. has what they believe is a fairly tight leash on the Hulk, but they’re mistaken. That’s part of the fun of writing Maria Hill and Bruce Banner, they both have different perspectives on the situation.
From the beginning they wanted to give Hulk some villains to punch that he hasn’t punched before. We’ve got Attuma, Frost Giants, the all-new, all-different Quintronic Man, an old Hulk villain from the ’70s.
There is a Big Bad behind the first year, but Waid doesn’t want to give away who it is.
What other supporting cast will we be seeing? He needs support staff, interns, lab assistants. Now, imagine how difficult it is to hire people for a position where you have to work with Bruce Banner in a closed space all day long.
The lab assistants each have a specialty. They’re introduced in issue 3 and developed more in issue 4. And each of them has a secret–a hidden self inside of them that may or may not need to be explored.
Will there be a Hulk/Daredevil meet up? They haven’t scheduled it yet, but yep. No question.
The floating robot head on the cover of #1 ties into the leash S.H.I.E.L.D. thinks they have on Hulk.
In preview art, we see Maria Hill and Coulson. Maria is a great foil for Banner because she’s a control freak. She’s not a terribly relaxed human being. It is not above Banner to purposefully drop a box on his foot in front of Maria just to see her heart stop for a beat.

The Mandarin is a fan of Captain America?

The Mandarin's Tattoo
Following the release of The First official Iron Man 3 trailer, we got an image of the movies villain, The Mandarin (played by Ben Kingsley) during the trailer featuring him taking off his hood, but if you look closely, you will find him with a Captain America's shield tattoo!
The Mandarin's Captain America Tattoo

This tattoo has the same sort of design as 'The Man lost in time's' shield except for the middle, where instead of a star, there seems to be an 'A'.
Could this be the terrorists logo, or could this be some sort of easter egg. Captain America's shield was in fact an easter egg in Iron Man 2, so could this just be the same.

How I would want a Deadpool movie to go

There has already been a rather disappointing Deadpool... Person (I still cringe when I here Barakapool, Eugh), and news being spread about a DP movie has been in the works for a while, but whose to say that they won't destroy Deadpool once again?
The directors and writers will say that they were huge comic fans when they were younger, but most of the time they don't even know what they're talking about. The proofs in X-men Origins: Wolverine; in what universe is there really a Wade Wilson where he can teleport, have swords come out of his fists and have laser vision?
What I'm trying to say is that us fans know DP better than probably any writer/director out there, so wouldn't you rather have the right Deadpool, instead of a cheap knock off version?

I have my own list of how I think the possible Deadpool movie should go.

Check it out:

THE RIGHT CAST

In X-men Origins: Wolverine, Deadpool was portrayed by Ryan Reynolds, and did a pretty good job as the mercenary  Wade Wilson and I would certainly like to see the actor return as him. one thing that I would like to add though is that Reynolds' certainly did portray him as the 'Merc with the Mouth', but I would rather have him with more mouth. If you get what I mean.

DON'T MAKE IT A KIDS MOVIE

I am a rather big fan of Deadpool and I know that if they are going to make this movie properly, it would have to be rated R/18. This would mean that not even I would be allowed to see it (even though I would sneak in at any cost).
Deadpool is a gritty character, who loves killing! There will have to be blood, there will have to be gore, but there's one thing that they definitely can't forget... DP's witty, yet dark sense of humor. Deadpool will make a joke about almost anything, whether it be a really witty one, or just something plain stupid.
Deadpool will be decapitating his enemies, shooting them in the eyeballs, torturing victims, shooting people for no entire reason and much more, so what else could they rate it?

DEADPOOL SHOULD BREAK THE FOURTH WALL... OCCASIONALLY

Deadpool is known for his sense of humor and his violent ways of doing things, but he's mostly known for him being able to break the fourth wall, which is where you can talk to the reader or the watcher.
I would like to see something like this in the movie. Deadpool should know that he's in a movie, but only hint at it. If he's constantly talking to the watcher, then it could get a little confusing and a tiny bit silly for those who don't know anything about the character.
What I would like to see is him maybe mentioning some of the actors who are playing characters, or even playing him! Maybe he could express his feelings about his portrayal in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, or about Marvel and DC's competitions movie wise. Just anything.

MAKE IT A DEADPOOL MOVIE

In most Fox movies, one character who's not even the main character can take the spotlight, DO NOT MAKE THIS HAPPEN!! Look at the X-Men franchise, sure Wolverine is the most interesting character in the team, but he completely took the spotlight.
In a Deadpool movie, it should be all about who? Deadpool. Don't make a supporting character take over (but they could include DP's Hydra sidekick, Bob have a relatively big role).

STAN LEE'S CAMEO

Stan Lee may have not created Deadpool, but Stan has appeared in nearly every single Marvel movie (whether he created the main character or not).
What I would like to see is Stan and DP having just a normal conversation, no jokes would have to be included, because seeing them talk would just be a joke on it's own.
This would also be a good chance for Deadpool to break the Fourth Wall. DP could maybe act like he actually knows Stan very well and maybe occasionally call him 'The Man' or 'The Maker'.

What do you think about my ideas?
Is there something I could add? Is all of it just plain wrong?

Jean Grey cameo in The Wolverine?

According to We got this covered, Famke Janssen flew over to Sydney recently, to the set for 'The Wolverine'. It's rumored that this is in fact for a cameo as he comic book movie character 'Jean Grey'!

This is a rather interesting find, as the actress had said that she was interested to appear as Jean Grey in Matthew Vaughn's X-Men: Days of Future Past.
Another reason for this to be strange news, is that this is a prequel, so in what way can she be included in the movie? You tell me.

How would you like to 'Unleash the 007' in you?

Coke Zero launched the genius idea for 'unlocking the 007' hidden inside. Coke Zero attempted this on some unexpected passengers and you can see for yourself that the experiment was a success.

The challenge was to run to a certain station and have the chance of winning tickets to 007's upcoming movie 'Skyfall'. Sound too easy? Well they certainly didn't make it easy.

Jarvis reveals why he's never watched a MARVEL STUDIOS MOVIE

Paul Brettany (known by fans as the voice of Tony Stark's butler, Jarvis), in an interview with Digital Spy promoting his upcoming movie 'Blood', reveals all about his life as a Marvel Studios idol.

The British actor is known all over the world as Iron Man's right hand man, but apparently doesn't know anything about the world he works in...

"I get brought in right at the last moment, where if they've worked out that they have a clarity issue or whatever, they can always add it to my dialogue. I feel like a pirate. This is robbery. I walk in, I say some lines on a piece of paper for two hours, and then they give me a bag of money and I leave and I go about my day. I sort of feel guilty, because at least acting can be exhausting, with long hours...but I do nothing! And I've never seen one of them. It's not because of any snobbishness, it's just not my thing. I'm plagued by fanboys who love Jarvis... They come up and I've got no idea what they're talking about. I've got no idea about Iron Man - I don't get sent the whole script."

How Carol Danvers A.K.A Ms. Marvel can be introduced in to the Marvel Cinematic Universe

With Marvel's Phase 2 project approaching, new characters will be introduced and many possible characters to debut in the MCU have been thought of. Among these characters is Carol Danvers A.K.A Ms. Marvel.

Ms. Marvel first appeared in the late 60's as an officer in the United States Air Force, who receives super powers after being caught in an explosion which originated from a Kree (alien race) Device. The explosion had merged her DNA with the Kree's Captain Marvel.

I believe that this character could be introduced in the MCU.

Marvel has a Guardians of the Galaxy movie coming up and this is said to lead up to a team-up with The Avengers in The Avengers sequel against the Mad Titan, Thanos.
The Guardian's of the Galaxy is of course mostly cosmic based, which is also part of Danvers back story, so could she be introduced in the GOTG movie?

What if Carol Danvers were introduced as a SHIELD agent at the end credits for the Guardians of the Galaxy and is sent to check some sort of disturbance (like the late Agent Coulson did in the Iron Man 2 end credits, where he is seen looking at Thor's hammer, Mjolnir), but involving extraterrestrials.
I figured that the disturbance could be something relating to her origin (such as the Kree) and this could just continue onto either her own solo movie or be introduced in The Avengers sequel with her origin revealed later in the Universe.

If she isn't to be introduced as a super heroin, she could be like the Ultimate Danvers, where she's still a part of SHIELD, but with no special abilities.

Personally, I would go with her have powers, because the MCU could really use with more Female heroes.

What do you think?

Please state your idea down below...

PS. I wouldn't really go with her costume design, but with maybe some sort of military uniform?

The Son of Coul returns!!!

Marvel's head of TV Jeph Loeb, revealed at New York Comic Con that Clark Gregg will be reprising his role as SHIELD's star agent, Agent Phil Coulson in Joss Whedon's spin-off TV pilot SHIELD.

The actor has appeared in multiple shorts named Marvel one-shots, involving the Avengers initiative. He has also lend the voice of Phil in The Ultimate Spider-man Television show.

My question is how will he appear? In flashbacks? What?
