New SPOILERISH TASM 2 Gwen Stacy photos

All I have to say is SPOILERS! for those who do and don't know what Emma Stone's, Gwen Stacy's wardrobe is all about...

There have been plenty of rumours floating around that the next instalment of The Amazing Spider-man series, will be leading up to 'The Death of Gwen Stacy' storyline. The pictures which have been released (thanks to Superherohype) for the movie seem to subtly confirm the rumours.

For those who don't know, Gwen Stacy's wardrobe from the following pictures are reminiscent to the clothes she wears in The Amazing Spider-man # 121, in which poor Miss Stacy is thrown off The George Washington Bridge (which was hinted at the end of The Amazing Spider-man) by the Green Goblin.

Here are more pictures featuring the possibly doomed Gwen Stacy:

What do you think? Will Gwen Stacy die in The Amazing Spider-man 2?

The Amazing Spider-man 2 is set to be released 2nd May 2014

Disney teams up with a new company for Star Wars games?

Disney brought Lucasfilm and LucasArts, then shut down LucasArts, therefore cancelling all Star Wars games and guess what... Disney are now teaming up with Electronic Arts to develop all Star Wars games from now on!
EA studios Visceral, DICE and BioWare will also be teaming up with Lucasfilm for the development of the games.

To be honest, I am rather worried about this, though it is comforting that EA studios is part of the project.

The Walt Disney Company (DIS) and Electronic Arts Inc. (EA) today announced a new multi-year exclusive licensing agreement to develop and publish globally new games based on Star Wars characters and storylines.
Under the agreement, EA will develop and publish new Star Wars titles for a core gaming audience, spanning all interactive platforms and the most popular game genres, while Disney will retain certain rights to develop new titles within the mobile, social,
tablet
 and online game categories.
This agreement demonstrates our commitment to creating quality game experiences that drive the popularity of the Star Wars franchise for years to come,” said John Pleasants, Co-President of Disney Interactive. “Collaborating with one of the world’s premier game developers will allow us to bring an amazing portfolio of new Star Wars titles to our fans around the world.”

“Every developer dreams of creating games for the Star Wars universe,” said EA Labels President Frank Gibeau. “Three of our top studios will fulfill that dream, crafting epic adventures for Star Wars fans. DICE and Visceral will produce new games, joining the BioWare team which continues to develop for the Star Wars franchise. The new experiences we create may
borrow from films, but the games will be entirely original with all new stories and gameplay.”

New screenshots for DEADPOOL game

Thanks to Activision we have new screenshots of the highly anticipated Deadpool game!
The game will centre around the much beloved, Merc with Mouth, Wade Wilson!

Along with a few screenshots, Deadpool has also given us a brand new message.

Check it out:

Hey suits, listen up 'cause I've got some pretty sweet news to break. I, DEADPOOL, today announced that I've… (ahem…we've) …yes, right…WE'VE decided to make a kick-butt, butt-kicking new video game based on the awesome-ing-ist Super Hero ever known to man …(and woman, if you know what we're sayin') - starring yours truly, ME - DEADPOOL. I know, I know…I pee'd myself a little with excitement just now too (you call that 'a little?').
Some of you may know me as the Merc with a Mouth, (or the mercenary for hire) - what can I say; I have skills! (You know who else has skills?) High Moon Studios has skills, and I hired them to make my
game
, because they're awesome, and so am I. But they're not as awesome as I am, if that's what you've heard. (Who'd you hear that from?) (Wait, listen…you smell something?) Anywho, where was I? Oh yeah, ME, and my game DEADPOOL! With some cashola I 'borrowed' (ha!!! riiight…'borrowed') from Activision Publishing, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Activision Blizzard, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI) (blah blah blah), and some of the big cheeses (mmmmm…cheeeeese) from Marvel Entertainment, my DEADPOOL game will feature all of my favorite things - katanas (check), big guns (and not just these amazing arm muscles) (check), crazy poop-your-pants action (check), hot chicks (check), maybe some of my X-MEN™ friends (well, depending on what they're wearing), burritos, bouncy houses and of course ME!!! (check)(check) And check!

And now, a quote from me about my game:
"I, DEADPOOL, 'hired' Peter Della Penna and his physically embarrassing team at High Moon Studios for two reasons. First, because of their
close proximity to Mexico so I can get fresh, authentic chimichangas delivered daily," said DEADPOOL, newly self-appointed Head of High Moon Studios, and Supreme Commander of PR, Marketing, Legal, and just about everything I want to be in charge of at Activision Publishing, Inc. "Second, if High Moon can make an amazing game about big transforming robots look cool, then they can surely make me look amazing in a third-person action video game, from all angles (seriously Peter…my bottom is my good side, so don't screw this up)."

And now, a quote from that other guy at High Moon Studios:
"We weren't actually planning on making a DEADPOOL game," said Peter Della Penna, formerly Head of High Moon Studios and now second in command. "But, DEADPOOL came by the studio one day, said he was taking over, and that if I didn't hire Marve l writer Daniel Way pronto and make the most amazing DEADPOOL
video game, he'd break both of our arms and beat us to death with them. I have kids, so we're making the game."

Deadpool will be released on Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Microsoft Windows 25th June 2012.

Return of the Jedi, I mean Vader....

Well... all I can say is I hope my kids don't turn out like Lil' Vader:

Zoe Saldana talks about GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY and GAMORA!

Star Trek: Into Darkness star Zoe Saldana, is set to appear in James Gunn's 2014 Marvel movie GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY and who else but her to play the Mad Titan's Thanos' daughter Gamora, that Zoe Saldana!

Many fans (including myself) presumed that Saldana will be CGI'd but talking to Total Film Zoe, she will in fact be sporting green make-up!

Guardians of the Galaxy will begin filming this June and set to be released 1st August 2014.

Marvel pushing forward for DOCTOR STRANGE

I don't know about you, but I have really been enjoying the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the movies, the concept and especially the characters, but there are many others Marvel can add to their MCU roster and among them is The Sorcerer Supreme: DOCTOR STRANGE!

Kevin Feige had an interview with Collider about whether or not a movie is in the working and this is what he had to say:

"Doctor Strange is something that I talk about often and it’s sort of next up for us to dig into and explore. Our executive producer of Iron Man 3, having done Captain America: The First Avenger and as that was finishing he started working on the bones that would become Iron Man 3, and now that he’s finished with Iron Man 3, he’s working on the bones that would become Doctor Strange. Now that Iron Man 3 is finished, some of our quote-unquote spare time is going to be devoted to trying to crack Strange"

Feige was then asked about when The Sorcerer would be entering the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and this was his answer:

"As we look past 2015, past Avengers 2 and Ant-Man, I think Doctor Strange should be one of the next movies in the years following that."

What do you think? Should Dr Strange be introduced to the MCU?

Jim Lee approves MAN OF STEEL

DC's amazing artist Jim Lee, while promoting Free comic book day, took this as the chance to speak about Man of Steel, explaining to CBS and Fox News how it brought him to tears!

Its epic. It's got a lot of heart. But one things that was missing from the last Superman movie was the action and this movie has it in spades. It is a visual thrill ride. It is amazing. You get to see all the powers of Superman in all its glory and I think people are going to blown away.

Henry is awesome in the movie. He is very different form Brandon and Christopher. He's a man's man, very virile and very yoked (jacked), believable, very brooding, at the same time it's a real fresh take on Superman.

The special effects are way over the top I mean you are going to see superpowers that you've never seen before, depicted on the screen in the ways that you would have never imagined. So it's really exciting.

It's an amazing re-imagining of Superman. There's stuff in there that you have never seen in a Superman movie before. Special effects are incredible but it's got a lot of heart. It brought me to tears actually, a couple of times in the movie and that doesn't happen a lot.

IRON MAN 3 spoilerific REVIEW

The Man of Iron is back and this time he doesn't have a Gamma Radiated Hulk, a Super Soldier, nor SHIELD to save him.
Iron Man 3 has now hit theatres and this time the threat hits right at home.
Mind you, this review is full of SPOILERS for the movie and if you have not seen the new instalment then I would advise for you to come back after; but for all you others who have seen the movie, then stay tuned:

Iron Man 3 is the first instalment of Marvel's Phase 2 project, which shall consist of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Thor: The Dark World, Guardians of the Galaxy and to end it, The Avenger 2; and what better way to begin the next stage than with the Armoured Avenger himself: IRON MAN.

Though Shane Black may have presented the best story for Tony Stark on a personal level, that doesn't necessarily mean that there aren't some major flaws that Die-Hard Fans will find rather disappointing and frankly quite idiotic.

All the previous MCU Movies have stories which show how this Universe is realistic, except for the Avengers which broadened the possibilities for Marvel movies. We now know that the movies can be fantasy like and this is exactly what Iron Man 3 has accomplished. This shows how the Universe is evolving and that anything can happen.
The Exremis Super soldiers, the fight scenes and even the new technology shows just how fantastical this world is getting and they did it without rushing right into it and that is what everyone who has worked on the movies should be proud of.

The movie begins with Tony Stark explaining how you 'create your own Demons' and that is exactly what the movie is about. How Tony Stark created his own enemies.
At the beginning it goes back in time to 1999, to show the loveable,  Playboy, Stark used to be at a New Years Eve party alongside Maya Hansen, the founder of Extremis, who he had rebuffed, causing demon no. 1, alongside rejecting disabled scientist, Aldrich Killian, creating demon no. 2. Stark's cockiness from a decade ago almost caused the death of him.
The Extremis was intended for it to allow its host to recover from crippling injuries, through regeneration. Though this was a success, it also granted them the unexpected ability to breathe fire?!

Tony may not have the Avengers to aid him in his quest, but he does have his best buddy, James Rhodes, the turned War Machine, turned Iron Patriot.
I really enjoyed how we managed to see more of Rhodey fighting alongside Tony, in and out of the suit. It had a sort of classic 'buddy cop' vibe to it, which emphasised the strong bond of friendship.
All I can say about Rhodey in this movie is that he was bad bottom. I found that his performance was one of the highlights of the whole film.
Though I did enjoy him in the film and he was great in and out of the suit, I would have preferred to see him more in the final battle with him wearing his suit and not seeing him so almost 'powerless' against the Extremis soldiers, even though he did manage to hold himself pretty well.

In this film, Tony and Peppers relationship has been almost demolished, obliterated, as if someone came up a blew up an Arc Reactor and all thanks to the New York battle, which took place in The Avengers.
After Tony was caught unprepared against Loki, he spends nearly every night doing what he knows best: tinkering; and in the few months between the battle against Loki and the Chitauri, and the Mandarin's attacks, Tony has not only made one or a few more suits but 42, with the forty second being the most bad bottom.
The suits cause a wall between Tony and Pepper, and Pepper definitely doesn't approve... who'd have thought?

Now... I find The Mandarin to be Iron Man's most fearsome foe and I was quite looking forward to this interpretation from the trailers and information the actors and cast members were giving out; but then the spoilers and major information about the character starting rolling in, and frankly I was pretty disappointed.
From the beginning the Mandarin was very menacing and was exactly how I imagined he would be in real life. A terrorist with no remorse, no code of conduct and is full of secrets; but then you get to the middle of the story when Tony goes to infiltrate his headquarters in Miami and that's when the fans started screaming at the screens... we learn that the Mandarin who had been sending intimidating and frankly quite scary messages to the Government was nothing more than a drunk British actor, who had no idea that the people he was working for were really killing people. That twist right there is what ruined the movie for me and I could not enjoy the rest at all.
I was expecting big things from the Mandarin in this movie and they just ruined it for me.

The last battle was fun and exciting. Tony and Rhodey fought side by side, which was very appealing to movie goers and comic book fans alike, as we don't see much of them fighting together (except for the Iron Man 2 end fight); but then the unthinkable happens... as Rhodes and Tony talk about how they need back-up as they are outnumbered in the battle against the Extremis soldiers, a faint whooshing sound can be heard from a distance... 41 suits came out of nowhere. All being different shapes and size, with different functions. The audience, including myself were very excited about the battle yet to come. The battle was fun and the action was pleasing, but only for a short amount of time. We didn't see much of all the functions the suits could do and to top it off, half of the suits were destroyed!

Robert Downey JR mentioned how he had a talk with the writers and producers of the movie about how he thought that Gwyneth Paltrow should do a little more as Pepper and did they answer his request? They definitely did. Pepper turns from the damsel in distress, who Tony has to constantly save, to a butt-kicking damsel who is doing the saving. During the clash at 10880 Malibu point (give thanks to Tony Stark for giving out that information to the press) Tony saves Pepper, for her to save him, therefor we finally found her wearing an Iron Man suit! Save number two was in the final battle, where she was infected with Extremis and kills the Master mind behind the whole plan and the true Mandarin (not to us comic book fans and some movie goers), Aldrich Killian.

Once the fight between the suits and the Extremis soldiers is over, Tony commenced a protocol called 'the Clean-slate', which caused every single suit to explode, making a pretty disappointing fireworks display; to show Tony's commitment to Pepper.
To top that off, Tony takes the shrapnel out of his chest, including the arc reactor saying that no matter what, he is Iron Man. Though it pains me to say it, I think the writers were trying to insult our intelligence. Are you telling me that Tony couldn't have gone through the operation at the beginning of his journey and further more, what was really the point?

Overall, I was pretty disappointed with this movie. Although the acting was superb, the story was not the best it could be. The action scenes we fun and exciting and some of the plot points was very reminiscent of Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises, especially how the journey is more about the man inside the suit, than on the outside.
Up until the huge twist with Mandarin, I was really enjoying the film and I can certainly speak for everyone in the theatre when I say that after the twist, it was pretty difficult to enjoy the movie.
The movie slightly failed story-wise, but succeeded with the comedic side.
Putting aside the major hiccups within the film, it was fun and a great way to begin Phase 2.
I rate this movie a 7.5/10
