Who or what is Miles Morales in the 616 Universe?

Brian Michael Bendis' 'Spider-men' came to an epic conclusion this week in issue 5, so for those who haven't read it just yet, prepare for:

SPOILER ALERT!!!

After the villain was defeated by Peter Parker (616 Spider-man) and Miles Morales (Ultimate Spider-man), Peter got back to his home universe, got a nice hot shower, ate some candy and typed in what all comic book fans have wondered... Is there an alternate version of Miles Morales?

After looking Morales up, Pete's face says it all, with the aid of him saying 'Oh my God'. Obviously it was something very surprising.

What I want to know is what did Peter see? Was it something related to his own history or back story?
Could he have been a relative of the 616 version of 'The Prowler', a criminal turned Hero?

My money is on him replacing Spider-man if he dies for the lead-up to Marvel Now! in issue 700, but doesn't that sound to obvious?

Do you think that Miles could play a big part in the supposed 'death of 616 Spider-man'?

Unfortunate death on the set of Disney's 'The Lone Ranger'

A cast of Disney's upcoming movie 'The Lone Ranger' had unfortunately died on set in Los Angeles this morning during filming.

The cast member had been doing an underwater scene at the time, but it has not been revealed whether the member was part of a stunt-crew or not and we are not yet sure whether he had drowned or if it was merely a heart attack.

Disney will not be naming any names just yet, but the studio has revealed this statement:

 “We regretfully confirm that a Lone Ranger crew member has passed away after being taken to a local hospital.  Our hearts and thoughts are with his family, friends, and colleagues at this time, and our full support is behind the investigation into the circumstances of this terrible event.”

We all send our condolences to the friends and families who knew the cast member 

Avengers VS X-Men #12 preview

Marvel comics have now released previews for the Summers biggest comic book event: Avengers VS X-Men #12.

Both the Avengers and the X-Men are plotting on how to take down the PHOENIX, but how is this going to go down? That is what's on everybody's lips...

Brian Michael Bendis (Ultimate Spider-man, Spider-Men) and Steve McNiven (Nemises) are now revealed as Guarding the Galaxy!

Avengers Assemble writer Brian Michael Bendis had been rumored to write Marvel NOW's new GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY and the new teaser has now revealed that this is a fact.

Now I would think that this is Star-Lord, but he does look awfully young. 

Who do you think this is? Is it Star-Lord, or Star... Mistress?

Michael Bay talks about Transformers 4

A couple of months ago, it was rumored that Transformers 4 would bring a whole new cast for both humans and robot, but that Michael Bay's Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon would be his last of the movie series, and those rumors... are still rumors. According to Michael Bay of course, but for some odd reason it involves something about a ride...



"I thought I was done, then the ride came out and the two-and-a-half-hour lines. And then you're thinking, 'Oh my God, someone's going to take this over?' And you start doing a lot of soul-searching… I'm thinking that if I do this last one, we set it on a new footing and we change a lot of things, but we keep the history of the three in place. But we broaden it so it can be set up and be carried on -- it would have a better chance for survival, I guess… The bottom line is, when you go to Universal Studios and you have the two-and-a-half-hour line, it's hard to give it up. You birth a baby and you want to carry it on."

Could #700 be the end for the Amazing Spider-man?

Marvel NOW! hasn't come just yet (it definitely isn't coming Now), but it looks like Spidey will have to pay the price to go onto another 'series'.
According to resources Spidey may taking his last web-sling this December in The Amazing Spider-man #700.

Dan Slott (Current writer of The Amazing Spider-man) previously said that he will have to go into hiding after the comic is released due to it being such a heavy, climatic moment.

Doctor Octopus knows Pete... (excuse me), Spider-man's true identity, so what will he do with it ? He only has hours to live anyway, so he might as well end it with a BANG.

Could Morbius come back thirsty for irradiated blood, or will it just be another fang-tastic moment?

Will memories come back to haunt him?

Could this be the end of The Amazing, Astonishing, Ultimate, Spectacular Web-slinger?
